Sexuality Education For Adults

Second Unitarian Church

3012 South 119th St., Omaha, NE

Open to the general public on a space-available basis

Our Whole Lives (OWL) for adults is a series of 14 workshops providing an overview of many aspects of human sexuality.  It provides time to learn about an extraordinarily rich and complex area of human behavior and an opportunity to better understand sexuality and self.

This year, Our Whole Lives For Adults will be offered at Second Unitarian Church on Monday evenings.  The 14-week series will begin in late January and end in May.   Exact times and dates will be worked out in consultation with enrolled participants.

The series will be facilitated by Stephanie Peterson.  Stephanie is a member of Second Unitarian.  She has been involved with the OWL program as a facilitator and trainer for several years.  She is also a committed life partner, a mother of teenage sons, and a clinical psychologist in private practice.

Some topics to be addressed will include:

Sexuality and Values

Sexuality and Communication

Sexuality and Spirituality

Discovering Self and Other

Sexuality in all phases of relationship

Sexual Diversity

Sexuality and Family

Sexuality and Aging

Sexual Health

The OWL program is rich and flexible.  The particular interests of enrolled participants can often be incorporated into the series.  OWL for adults is fun, engaging, educational and challenging.  It is appropriate for individual adults and couples of any sexual orientation.  OWL is also a rich group experience.  Participants will be asked to make an effort to attend to the entire series.
